Atalanta Internationals in Action: Pašalić and Croatia secure World Cup qualification

The final international break of 2025 is upon us and 14 Nerazzurri First Team players have been selected to represent their respective national teams in November, with many aiming to qualify for next summer's World Cup. Here are the outcomes of the matches scheduled on Friday 14 November.
Mario Pašalić’s Croatia won 3-1 against the Faroe Islands, with Mario playing the first half, securing their spot at the World Cup. Montenegro also triumphed 2-1 over Gibraltar, thanks to a goal from Nikola Krstović, who featured for 74 minutes. Meanwhile, Nikola Zalewski's Poland drew 1-1 with the Netherlands, with the Atalanta wingback on the field for 82 minutes.
Finally, it was a setback for both Kamaldeen Sulemana’s Ghana (2-0 to Japan, with the Nerazzurro on the field for 88 minutes) and Odilon Kossounou’s Ivory Coast (1-0 to Saudi Arabia, with the Atalanta player featuring in the second half). In both cases, the matches were friendlies.
