Atalanta For Special, another double win for the Seniors
Two 4-1 victories against Fiorentina and AC Milan
Two more wins for the Atalanta For Special's Senior squad that, in the last weekend, took the field to play two friendly matches with Fiorentina and AC Milan, two sides competing in the DCPS 2nd-tier championship, both of which were overcome with a score of 4-1.
The matches took place at the Angelo Moratti Sports Center in Ossona under the usual guidance from coach Gianmario Lesmo and his assistants, Walter Probo, Aurelio Birolini, Leonardo Marcassoli, and Alfredo Locati.

Fiorentina was the first opponent of the day for the Nerazzurri, forced from the first minutes to raise their pace, given the high intensity of the match. A few minutes in and Cordozo gets rid of two opponents and unlocks the match after sprinting towards Fiorentina's net. The "Viola" didn't give up and reacted vehemently to the goal conceded producing two quick counterattacks. Atalanta, however, kept their concentration level high, even managing to take a double lead with Pezzotti, skilful in finalizing a choral action. The match continued on a high pace of play and, on an uncertainty of the Nerazzurri defensive line, Fiorentina shortened the distance.
In the second half, thanks to a fast acceleration on the wing, Atalanta's third goal was netted by Campo and, a few moments later, Pezzotti set the result at 4-1 by scoring his second goal.

A few minutes after the final whistle of the match with Fiorentina, the Seniors took the field again to face Milan, in the second friendly of the day.
Lightning start of the match by the Nerazzurri who, after just 20 seconds, unlocked the match with Capitanio, quick to pounce on the ball after a mistake of the opponent's defense. The Rossoneri tried to turn the match around but they found Nerazzurri's goalkeeper De Souza on their way, who made three great saves. Atalanta sealed the 2-0 with a counterattack executed precisely by Probo who served the assist to Pezzotti. At the end of the first half, Cordozo scored the third goal after an excellent give-and-go with his teammate Rota.
In the second half, AC Milan immediately started strong to reopen the match and, after a high-intensity pressing, managed to shorten the distance. Right at the best moment of the opponents, the Seniors brought out all their grit and spirit, despite the physical effort expended up to that moment, managing to finally close the match with Cordozo's second goal that fixed the final score at 4-1.
