Atalanta For Special: Academy kicks back into gear
Figures are climbing
The Atalanta For Special Academy has kicked back into field action and numbers are on the rise with 28 youngsters, including a girl, meeting every Friday to train, play and forge tight bonds, one session at a time.
Backing this spirited team is a dedicated lineup of 24 dedicated coaches, bringing expertise, empathy and passion to the table to kick off their sporting journey in a supportive and inclusive environment where every kid can find their spot, set their tempo and shine in their very own way.
The Atalanta For Special academy is a grassroots project aimed at young athletes with disabilities, aged 4 to 12.
This weekend, Saturday, October 18 to be exact, the senior squads will officially kick off the 2025/26 DCPS season. This year, we’re fielding three teams, each competing in the second, third, and fourth-tier tournaments respectively.
