Atalanta-Athletic Club, the Fair Play Event
A moment of camaraderie before kick-off
In the hours leading up to kick-off for the Champions League League Phase Matchday 7, Atalanta formally welcomed representatives from Athletic Club and UEFA for the customary Fair Play meeting, the institutional moment that precedes every European fixture.
The stadium’s Main Restaurant, long established as a centre of hospitality and dialogue, provided the distinguished setting for the meeting between the delegations.
The Atalanta welcome was led by the club’s senior management team, composed of composed of CEO Luca Percassi, Corporate General Director Andrea Fabris, Commercial and Marketing Director Romano Zanforlin and General Secretary & UEFA Main Contact Marco Semprini.
Athletic Club was present with President Jon Uriarte, Board Secretary Jon Salinas, Board Director Ibon Naberan, Board Member Ignacio Urigen, and General Secretary Juan Ignacio Añibarro.
UEFA participated with Delegate Tibor Vámos, accompanied by Venue Director Aleks Stolfa and VOBM David Gallego.
