Atalanta and Allianz Trade mark "Earth Day" together
With the support of Legambiente, an urban regeneration and clean-up initiative took place at Parco della Trucca in Bergamo
On the occasion of Earth Day 2026, Atalanta and Allianz Trade joined forces for a sustainability-focused initiative, carried out with the valuable support of Legambiente.
The event was attended by Allianz Trade representatives Guglielmo Santella (Head of Communications) and Burcak Alptuna (HR Manager), alongside Valentino Pasqualato, Atalanta’s Director of Administration, Finance and Control. Also present were U18 players Daniel Curcio, Yaroslav Tareiev and Lyam Hodiamont, underlining the importance of engaging younger generations on environmental issues.
Held at Parco della Trucca, the initiative involved around 50 volunteers — employees from Atalanta and Allianz Trade — in a three-hour urban regeneration and clean-up activity. The work delivered concrete results: 17 benches and 2 picnic tables were restored, while four bags of waste were collected and removed, improving the park’s usability and overall environment.
In just a few hours, volunteers completed work that would normally take two people around ten days, demonstrating the real impact of teamwork and civic responsibility.
This initiative is part of a well-established partnership between Atalanta and Allianz Trade, now in its third consecutive year. In the 2025–2026 season, the company is also a partner of the Dea Program. A shared commitment that places strong emphasis on environmental sustainability, alongside ongoing support for social initiatives such as Atalanta For Special.
A meaningful example of how sport, business and local organisations can work together to create lasting value for the community and promote environmental awareness.
