Academy: outcomes of the weekend (16/02/2025)

While the Nerazzurri Youth Sector's weekend got underway on Saturday with the Primavera team suffering a 1-0 defeat to Lazio, on Sunday the U17s celebrated a 3-1 on-the-road triumph over Como courtesy of Percassi, Ciapini and Damiano -in addition to the penalty saved by Sonzogni in the dying minutes. As for the Venetian doubleheader, while the U16s trailed 3-1 at the hands of the Lagoon team (Berrima on the scoresheet for the Nerazzurri), the U15s delivered a "game-set-match" 6-0 walkover featuring a brace from Meyou, plus single goals from Gagliardi, Torrente, Magtin and an own goal. Closing off with the Under-18s, the team will be off to Lecce to play the Salento side on Monday at 11:00 CET.

As for our Women's sides, both Nerazzurri teams had a strong start in the Interregional Phase, with the Under-15s cruising to a 7-0 victory against Uesse Sarnico on Saturday (with Basile bagging a brace and Boncioli, Mazzoleni, Roveda, Valecchi, and Vavassori all getting on the scoresheet) and the Under-17s clinching a domineering 11-0 shoo-in over Atletico URI in Zingonia on Sunday; with Crotti scoring four, Saccomandi netting a hat-trick, and Scandella, Fumagalli, Norscia (from the penalty spot) adding each one to the count and with an own goal completing the rout.
