A weekend to remember for Atalanta For Special

A weekend packed with satisfaction for Atalanta For Special, who took part in two sporting events. On Friday, the Senior team competed in Valbrembo at the “La passione di Yara” tournament, while on Sunday they were on the pitch in Bergamo for the five-a-side quadrangular “Fischio d’Inizio”, reserved for second and third-level categories. Both days celebrated sport, inclusion, and fun, reaffirming the commitment and passion of Atalanta For Special.

In the “La passione di Yara” tournament, the Senior For Special squad faced Torino, a higher-level team, without being intimidated. With character, quality, and great team spirit, they triumphed over their opponents.

The Nerazzurri started the game a bit cautiously, but after just five minutes they found their rhythm and opened the scoring: Francesco Pezzotti finished perfectly at the end of a brilliant one-two combination to make it 1-0.

Just before halftime, the team doubled their lead: a collective move built by Fabian Cordoso and Felipe Hurtado freed Tino Eklou, who delivered a masterful curling shot along the post, outsmarting the opposing goalkeeper and securing the 2-0 lead, which would also be the final score.

The Nerazzurri were cheered on from the stands by some of the youngsters from Atalanta’s Primavera, U15, U16, and U17 squads.

On Sunday, the team coached by Mister Lesmo took part in the five-a-side quadrangular “Fischio d’Inizio” in Bergamo, winning all their matches.
