The wait is finally over! After a whole summer spent "sweating for the shirt" torn between the boot camp and the friendlies in Zingonia and the pre-season tour in Germany, Sunday, August 24, marked the official curtain-raiser for the Nerazzurri in front of the most cherished crowd of all: the Bergamo stadium fans.
True to form, the Atalanta faithful rose to the occasion, greeting their heroes with yet another breathtaking choreography in a whirlwind of passion, colour and raw emotion...

Completing the tapestry of this long-awaited season opener was a fitting series of firsts: the unveiling of the first Starting XI, Scamacca opening the scoring with his trademark flair, and the debut appearances in Nerazzurri colours for Zalewski, Kamaldeen, and Krstović.
