2026 FIFA World Cup: De Ketelaere's Belgium Start with a Draw
Pašalić's Croatia and Kamaldeen's Ghana will make their tournament debuts on 17 and 18 June respectively
The 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage continues at full speed. On 16 June, Charles De Ketelaere's Belgium became the latest of Atalanta's represented nations to get their campaign underway, drawing 1-1 with Egypt. The Nerazzurri forward featured for 66 minutes.
The group stage will continue until 27 June, before the tournament moves into the knockout rounds on the road to the final, scheduled for 19 July.
Next up are Mario Pašalić's Croatia and Kamaldeen Sulemana's Ghana, both set to make their tournament debuts. Croatia will take on England on 17 June (22:00 CEST), while Ghana face Panama on 18 June (01:00 CEST).
