2026/27 Primavera Super Cup: facing Fiorentina on Wednesday 9
Kick-off at 18:00 CEST at the Arena Civica “Gianni Brera” in Milan
The Primavera side will compete for the first trophy of the new season on Wednesday 9 September, with the 2026/27 Primavera Super Cup up for grabs. Coach Bosi’s Atalanta, winners of the 2025/26 Primavera Coppa Italia, will take on reigning Italian champions Fiorentina.
The Arena Civica “Gianni Brera” in Milan will once again provide the setting, having already hosted the Coppa Italia final in which the Nerazzurri overcame Juventus on penalties. Kick-off is at 18:00 CEST, with free admission for supporters, as confirmed by Lega Serie A.
Atalanta are set to make their fourth appearance in the competition, which was established in 2004. After an unfortunate debut, which ended in a penalty shootout defeat to Sampdoria in 2008, the Nerazzurri went on to lift the trophy in consecutive editions in 2019 and 2020, with both matches played in Bergamo. On both occasions, the opponents were Fiorentina, beaten 2-1 in the first meeting and 3-1 the following year.
It will therefore be the third time in the competition’s history that Atalanta and Fiorentina have faced each other with the Primavera Super Cup at stake.
Here is the interview with Primavera coach Giovanni Bosi ahead of the match
