2026/27 Pre-season: double session at the Centro Bortolotti

Preparations ahead of Atalanta's first appearance of the season at the New Balance Arena, namely the XXVII Trofeo Achille e Cesare Bortolotti with Athletic Club scheduled for Friday 14 August, continued at the Centro Bortolotti with a double training session.
The morning session saw the squad split into positional groups. The defenders began with strength work before moving on to defensive-line drills, while the midfielders and forwards trained on the pitch before completing individual strength work.
The afternoon programme featured a technical activation, tactical exercises, a small-sided game and concluded with individual drills.
As announced in the dedicated medical update, Kamaldeen Sulemana sustained a grade-two medial collateral ligament injury to his left knee and will begin his rehabilitation programme tomorrow. Isak Hien continued his recovery programme.
On Wednesday 12 August, the Nerazzurri will return to the Centro Bortolotti for an afternoon training session behind closed doors.
