Genoa 2-3 Atalanta, Gian Piero Gasperini:  “An extraordinary, beautiful season”

Atalanta come from behind twice (first with Sulemana, then with Maldini netting his first goal in black and blue) before sealing a 3-2 win over Genoa in Marassi thanks to Retegui’s 25th Serie A goal of the season, a strike that breaks Inzaghi’s club record. Reflecting on the match and on the season as a whole, manager Gian Piero Gasperini summed it up in a few words: “An extraordinary, beautiful season”.
