Youth Academy Roundup (18/10/2026)
How the Nerazzurri youngsters fared this weekend
The Atalanta Academy enjoyed a weekend of mixed results, with the Primavera suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat away to Empoli, where Gasparello scored the Nerazzurri's only goal. Better fortunes came for the U17s, who returned from Südtirol with all three points following a 4-2 win, thanks to goals from Gagliardi, Koren, Briganti and Pettinà.
At the Centro Bortolotti, the double-header against Inter brought plenty of goals. The U16s played out an entertaining 3-3 draw, with Damioli, Giacchetti and Fradegrada all on target, while the U15s ran out emphatic 8-0 winners against their Milanese counterparts. Iurascu led the way with a hat-trick, Bini chipped in with a brace, and Frattolillo and Carrara also got on the scoresheet, with an own goal rounding off the scoring.
The U18s are the last boys' side in action this round, with their home fixture against Torino scheduled for Monday 19 October at 14:30 at the Centro Bortolotti in Ciserano-Zingonia.
Turning to the girls' Academy, the U15s enjoyed a convincing 7-1 away victory over Barianese. Carenini struck twice, while Polvara, Traini, E. Nespoli, Maccari and Zanaboni each added a goal. The U17s, meanwhile, ran riot against Real Bolgare in Brembate, recording an emphatic 10-1 victory. Frattini, Centonze and Boncioli all bagged braces, with Gavazzeni, Roveda, Soligo and Borghetti also getting on the scoresheet.
