Young Boys v Atalanta, important info for Nerazzurri fans travelling to Bern
Meeting points, means of transport, parking lots and rules in force at the Wankdorf Stadion
In view of the upcoming BSC Young Boys vs. Atalanta outing, scheduled for Tuesday 26 November at 21:00 CET at the Wankdorf stadium in Bern, here is some useful information for all Nerazzurri fans who will be travelling to Bern, Switzerland, for the UEFA Champions League MD5.
MEETING POINT
The meeting point for the Nerazzurri fans is Aarbergergasse (highlighted in green on the map).
Located westbound from the meeting point towards the train station, fans can get to the stadium via:
- Public means of transportation (bus no. 20) bound for “Wankdorf Bahnhof” with a stop in close proximity to the stadium;
- On the occasion of the match 3 public buses, located near the meeting point, will be put at the exclusive disposal of the Nerazzurri fans. The first shuttle will depart at 19:00 CET;
- A 45-minute walk (approximately) through the route charted down below.
PROHIBITED AREAS: Due to safety reasons, access to the areas highlighted in red is strictly forbidden to any Atalanta fan.
The bus parking area reserved for Atalanta fans is close to the stadium on the “Winkelriedstrasse 9” road; Parking enforcement services will be operative from 09:30 CET on Matchday.
For all fans travelling to Bern by car, here you can find the official statement submitted by the hosting party: “We wish to inform you that no parking facilities are offered close to the stadium. However, the city of Bern provides several possibilities for car parking. A detailed map of parking areas is available by accessing the following link: Parking Berne - You can park safely with us. To ensure a smooth ride we advise you to take the Bern Neufeld motorway exit.
AWAY FAN ZONE
The away stand opens at 19:30 CET.
Persons under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be refused entry to the stadium.

LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS
It is strictly forbidden to bring into the Away Fan Zone any of the following items:
- weapons
- flags, banners or any other material bearing offensive writings
- beverage containers
- umbrellas
- helmets
- pyrotechnic items such as firecrackers, smoke canisters, flares, fireworks et similia
- laser pointers
The hosting Club allows the introduction of plastic telescopic flagpoles (empty plastic tubes) for a length up to 600 cm (wooden and/or metal poles are otherwise forbidden). Flags and banners are to be fixed to fences on all sides without any restriction.
To streamline the outflow of local fans, Atalanta fans may be withheld in the Away fan zone for up to 30 minutes after the end of the game. Restrooms and refreshment points will be made available to Atalanta supporters until the definitive exit from the stadium.
Lastly, it must be noted that Atalanta BC stewards will be available on-site, both at the meeting point and at the Away Fan Zone, and at the full disposal of the Nerazzurri supporters to provide all the necessary information and to facilitate arrival and admission to the venue.
