"Yellow is the new black(-and-blue)": Atalanta's 2024/25 Third Kit unveiled!

Atalanta and their technical sponsor Joma are glad to unveil the 2024/25 Third Kit! In the wake of the Spanish brand's stylistic reinterpretation of our home and away kits, Atalanta's third kit, which will be worn in Bologna tomorrow evening, pursues the stylistic journey where past, present and future merge to create a third kit that is as innovative as it is rooted in the culture and history of the Nerazzurri!
The yellow base, which gives our third kit a modern and dynamic feel, is then overlaid with a horizontal black and blue band, a clear reference and commitment to Atalanta's rich historical heritage (past, present and future).
The strive towards the present and the future stands vivified in the front, where the graphical motives embossed on the fabric reference the external roofing of the Curva stands of the Gewiss Stadium, the Nerazzurri's home which was unveiled in the previous weeks upon completion of all renovation works.
The model chosen by Joma for the Third kit features a round collar: while the exterior portion sports the signature black-and-blue motive, an echo to the motive edged on the front fascia which strengthens the organic feeling of the main styling cues whilst also conveying a dazzle of modern and elegance to the overall look.
As the hallmark and common thread linking all three kits, the Third shirt will also don the “La Maglia Sudata Sempre” (“Always sweat for the shirt”) motto on the inner side of the collar, counterpointed by the “Atalanta Bergamo” logo on the outer side of the back, right below the collar, to underscore the everlasting link between the Club and its town.
Moving on to the more "technical" features of the 2024/25 Third Kit, in the wake of the solutions previously adopted for the Home and Away shirts, the synergy between the Club and Joma towards sustainability is embodied by the use of 100% recycled polyster fabrics produced through turning PET bottles into raw material. This manufacturing process reduces CO2 emissions by 75% whilst avoiding the use of petroleum derivatives. Recycled polyester is elastic, resistant and breathable.
As a result of its constant pursuit for excellence, Joma, one of the main worldwide benchmarks of the technical apparel industry, fitted Atalanta's shirt with all the latest and the most cutting-edge technological means developed in recent years by the Spanish brand thanks to its outstanding investments in the R&D department.
From the micro-mesh treatement, a procedure combining the utmost degrees of efficiency in both breathability and body heat release with a more comfortable fitting to all seams adopting the flatlock feature to reduce chafing; all bespoke details and features have been designed to persue maximum performance without overlooking paramount comfort
As a further reinforcement of the meticulous attention to detail behind Joma's workings, all logos have been applied with the Joma Sportech system; through which a flexible yet resistant material is bonded to the fabric through heat to avoid any friction with the aim of improving the athlete's wellbeing throughout the match.
