Women's sides: U17s in action at the Trofeo Nobis

The U17 women’s side were in action over Easter, taking part in the 5th international “Trofeo Nobis – Memorial Vincenzo Barrea” tournament in Borgaro Torinese. Coach Frigerio's Nerazzurre performed well, finishing the single round-robin group on 6 points, level with Juventus and Parma (with Denmark’s Midtjylland bottom on 0 points), placing third only on goal difference. Atalanta recorded two 2-1 wins — against Parma (goals from Villa and Saccomandi) and Midtjylland (Saccomandi and Asoni on target) — with their only defeat coming against Juventus (0-3).

Rebecca Pia Norscia and Viola Saccomandi (pictured below) were also recognised individually, being named Best Midfielder and Best Forward of the tournament respectively.
