UEL Final Atalanta v Bayer Leverkusen: info for Atalanta fans in Dublin

In addition to the information already published on 16 May, which we have included at the end of this piece of news item for your convenience, here is some useful information for the Nerazzurri fans who will be travelling to Dublin for the UEFA Europa League final between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen taking place at the Aviva Stadium on Wednesday 22 May and kicking off at 21:00 CEST (20:00 Irish time).

The Fan Meeting Point in RDS Simmonscourt for Atalanta supporters opens at 9:00.

It is highly recommended that you make your way to the Fan Meeting Point and stay there in the hours before kick-off.

The Aviva Stadium is a 15-minute walk from the Fan Meeting Point.

Shuttle Buses will run from outside the Dublin Airport Terminal 2 to the Atalanta Fan Meeting Point in RDS Simmonscourt. If you arrive in Terminal 1, it's a short walk to the other terminal. The service, operating from 7:00 on matchday, will be available for both the outward and return journeys after the match (the point of arrival and departure after the match will be the Atalanta Fan Meeting Point).

Even if you have hired a private coach, you will still need to get to the Atalanta Fan Meeting Point.
At the Meeting Fan Point:

You’ll find multiple concession stands where you can grab a tasty snack or a cold beer (UEFA reports that prices, especially for drinks, will be more affordable than in the city centre);

Toilets will also be available on-site;

There will be live music entertainment from 15:00 to 17:00 with the Irish band "Sin A Deir Si".

There will be a phone charging station to ensure you don't run out of battery and can access your mobile tickets at all times;

There will be storage at the Fan Meeting Point, in case you are carrying a bag larger than A4. You can drop it here before heading to the stadium and pick it up after the match. However, storage will be limited, so it's best to not bring a bag at all;

You'll be able to use both cashless payment options and cash (euro).
It is recommended to leave the Fan Meeting Point from 5 pm onwards to walk to the stadium.
At the Aviva Stadium: - It is possible to bring a rain poncho and/or a compact and folding umbrella with you. Please note that the use of umbrellas on the grandstands is forbidden. Large umbrellas of any kind are not permitted;

Keep in mind that the use of pyrotechnics in the Fan Meeting Zone, in the street and at the Aviva Stadium is illegal; the possession and use of pyrotechnics can lead to arrest.

You can bring a small power bank, no larger than your phone.

Aviva Stadium/Dublin Arena operates as a cashless stadium. Both credit and debit cards will be accepted, as will contactless payment (NO cash).
