U23s, Idele and Puljić Bow Out of UEFA Euro U19
Italy and Croatia exit the tournament
The commitments of the Nerazzurri players called up for the Under-19 European Championship have come to an end.
Javison Idele was the first to take the field, starting for Italy in the match for 5th place, which also served as a play-off qualifier for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The Azzurrino played the full 120 minutes, with the match ending in Denmark’s victory on penalties (5-4) after a 0-0 draw at the end of normal and extra time.
Ljubo Puljić also started, featuring for Croatia in the semi-final against Spain. The defender played the full match, which ended in a 3-0 win for the Iberian side.
