U23s, Francesco Modesto: "The team is clearly on the up"

Called to share his views on the team's win over Caldiero Terme, coach Francesco Modesto commented as follows: "Today we played one of the best first halves of our season thus far, a testimony of the team's constant growth. Today, we managed to find a chinck in the armour of a team with a very low and narrow defensive line especially given how this match smacks of those 'peculiar' games where even the slightest episode has the potential to sting you. Nonetheless, we managed to stand our ground. We broke the deadlock by capitalizing on an opposing slip-up. I'm very happy about De Nipoti's, Cassa's and all the other subs' impact on the game. Their performance could not be reproached for anything".

Moving on to Artesani's performance, the black-and-blue coach underscored how: "Atalanta's Academy is renowned for scouting and nurturing wonderkids of undisputed talent also thanks to the hoard works and efforts put in on a daily basis. Artesani has everything going for him: character, technical abilities, dribblings, adaptability... Just like his team-mates, he's growing up strong".
