U23, Idele features in Italy U19’s victory
8–0 against Moldova
The Nerazzurri U23 players in action on Wednesday, November 12:
In the first day of international duty for the Nerazzurri called up by their respective youth national teams, Idele took the field with Italy U19, coming on at the start of the second half in the emphatic 8–0 victory over Moldova, a match valid for the first round of the European Championship group stage. It is worth noting that in the final 15 minutes he was joined on the pitch by Marco Leandri from Atalanta’s Primavera team.
The next players to take the field will do so on Friday, November 14: Vavassori with Italy U21 will face Poland in Szczecin in the European Championship qualifiers; Obrić with Slovenia U21 will take on the Netherlands in Leeuwarden; Papadopoulos will be in action in Athens with Greece U21 against Georgia; finally, Riccio with Italy U20 will take part in a friendly in Viareggio against Portugal.
