The Atalanta Academy at the "Pigiama Run" event

On Friday, September 20, a black-and-blue deputation from Atalanta's Academy took part in the maiden Bergamo edition of the "Pigiama Run", the charity event arranged by LILT (the Italian Anti-Cancer Association) aimed at supporting young cancer patients and their families.

In its pledge to pursue social and ethical goals in addition to on-field endeavours, the Club wish to express their closeness to such a prominent event, which also served as a further opportunity for growth for its young athletes.

Starting off from the Parco Suardi all the way to the Città Alta's walls, the black-and-blue youngsters have run along the streets of Bergamo to complete the 4 km leg whilst also heralding the values of solidarity and charitable spirit.
