Ten goals against Locarno in the last preseason game in Clusone

Atalanta's training camp in Clusone ends on the highest possible note, as the last pre-season game in the Upper Seriana Valley against Swiss side FC Locarno culminated in a 10-0 walkover.
The Black-and-blues broke the deadlock just 8 minutes after the kickoff with Lookman: after receiving a stunning lob pass from Højlund, the Nigerian winger found his first goal of the evening after going one-on-one with the opposing keeper. In the 22nd minute, Pašalić made it 2-0 with a "pool shot": after receiving the ball from Toloi, the Croatian mid loosened his shot from the edge of the box with the ball getting past Locarno's goalie after a gentle brush on the post. On 28 minutes, Lookman scored his 2nd goal of the evening, bringing Atalanta 3-0 up with a chip shot from a tight angle. 30 minutes into the game and here came the 4th: as Super Mario Pašalić found Mæhle with a backheel pass, the Danish shot on the run and cleaved the ball into the top corner. Atalanta showed the "manita" in the 40th minute as a left-footed shot by Zappacosta got deflected into the goal by an opposing defender.
The second half began with five substitutions for Atalanta and with Baker's shot smashing the crossbar in the 50th minute. 62 minutes in and 6-0 on the scoresheet courtesy of Adopo, who found his scoring ways with a long-range shot in the top corner. In the 68th minute and 7-0 up: as Koopmeiners found Muriel with a long through pass, the Cafetero dribbled his way past the keeper and slotted the ball in with a classy finisher. In the 75th minute, Cambiaghi hit the second crossbar of the evening for Atalanta. Three minutes after, Muriel bagged a brace, driving his left-footed shot into the top corner. Another goal in the 83rd minute and 9-0 on aggregate: Koopmeiners capitalized on Adopo's through pass loosening an angled left-footed shot in the box. 90 minutes in and it's "Teun out of 10": the Oranje midfielder made it 10-0 with a left volley.
After a day off, the Black-and-blues will reprise training at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia on Monday 24 July with an afternoon drill to be held behind closed doors.
