Stuttgart & Atalanta: a bond beyond football
The county of Ludwigsburg, twinned with the province of Bergamo
Stuttgart v Atalanta truly took a step beyond the pitch. Be it by fate or accident, one thing truly leads to another and sometimes chance meetings create a breeding ground for deepening existing bonds or even building new relationships.
Such was the case that saw Vfb Stuttgart President Dietmar Allgaier also being the landrat (president) of the Ludwigsburg Landkreis, the German County twinned with the Province of Bergamo, presided by Pasquale Gandolfi, ever since 2022 (check the Italian press release here).
The half-time break thus provided the perfect opportunity to rehash a close friendship whilst also forging new relationships.
