Sponsor League: 7th Edition Set to Kick Off
Qualifiers at the Bortolotti Training Centre, finals at the New Balance Arena
The Sponsor League is back, with the 7th edition of Atalanta’s partners-only football tournament set to get underway in the coming week, bringing a refreshed format for 2026.
Seven teams will compete this year: Brembo, Habilita, Spider Linee Vita, Tao Ambiente, Tenaris Dalmine, new entry Enel, and a side made up of Atalanta employees and staff. The key innovation is the introduction of a single round-robin group, replacing the formats used in previous editions.
Fixtures will be played on the evenings of Monday 4 May and Monday 11 May at the Bortolotti Training Centre. At the end of the group stage, the top four teams will progress to the semi-finals, scheduled for the same evening as the final round of group matches on 11 May.
The “Man of the Match” award, introduced last season, has been confirmed and will once again recognise the standout player in each game.
The tournament’s final act will take place on Monday 18 May at the New Balance Arena. For the first time, both the third-place play-off and the final—where the 7th Sponsor League title will be decided—will be staged at the same venue.
