Shakhtar Donetsk v Atalanta, the fair play meeting between the clubs
The appointment was held before kick-off
In the build-up to the Nerazzurri's UEFA Champions League away game against Shakhtar Donetsk, the traditional exchange of gifts between Atalanta executives and their Shakhtar counterparts took place in one of the main hospitality rooms at the Veltins Arena. A fair play meeting to be respected and honoured.
While Sporting Director Dario Srna (pictured right on the cover) represented hosting side Shakthar, the gathering was also graced by the presence of Gelsenkirchen Mayor Karin Welge (pictured on the left).
On Atalanta’s behalf, the event was attended by Stefano Percassi (in between Mr. Srna and Mrs. Welge), Corporate Director General Andrea Fabris, Institutional Director General Umberto Marino and Commercial and Marketing Director Romano Zanforlin.
Attending on behalf of UEFA, Delegate Frederic Veraghaenne did the honours on behalf of the main governing body of European football.
