PSG-Atalanta, the fair-play soirée

A moment of collegiality before kick-off

It was an MD-1 marked by a spirit of camaraderie and networking for the Nerazzurri leadership: in the lead-in to tonight’s 2025/26 UEFA Champions League opener at the Parc des Princes, yesterday, Tuesday 16 September, the customary pre-match institutional meeting convened between the executive delegations of Paris Saint-Germain and Atalanta as part of the esteemed UEFA Fair Play Event.

Providing a fitting backdrop for this distinguished rendezvous, the Parc des Princes stadium itself welcomed its esteemed guests for the pre-match symposium.

Heading the Parisian side was General Manager Victoriano Melero, accompanied by General Secretary Gregory Durant, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Benoît Le Sech, Chief Brand Officer & Deputy CEO PSG for Communities Fabien Allegre, QS General Secretary David Sugdend and Chief Revenue Officer Richard Heaselgrave.

Representing Atalanta were Co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca, accompanied by his wife, alongside CEO Luca Percassi, Stefano Percassi, General Manager for Corporate Affairs Andrea Fabris, General Manager for Institutional Affairs Umberto Marino and General Secretary Marco Semprini.

Bridging the two sides, as is customary, was UEFA, represented by Delegate Iain Blair, championing the spirit of mutual respect and sportsmanship that extends beyond the boundaries of the pitch.
