Primavera: Napoli 3-1 Atalanta
Artesani on the scoresheet
At the Giuseppe Piccolo Stadium in Cercola, Napoli come out on top: in the MD21 of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 championship “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, the Azzurri beat Atalanta 3–1.
Napoli are the protagonists of the opening stages and take the lead after just one minute thanks to a winning header by D’Angelo from close range. After conceding, the Nerazzurri try to get back into the game immediately: first with a first-time volley by Marrone from Aliprandi’s precise cross from the left, and a few minutes later with a right-footed diagonal shot by Olijars from the right that goes just wide of the post. Approaching the half-hour mark, Ramaj and his teammates push forward again, creating danger with Baldo, whose header fails to hit the target. In the 31st minute, Olijars once more goes close to equalising with a diagonal effort, but Spinelli denies the Nerazzurri’s number 42 with a two-handed save. Late in the first half, Napoli double their lead thanks to a powerful right-footed strike from outside the box by Lo Scalzo.
In the second half, in the 53rd minute, coach Bosi’s side immediately get back into the match with a left-footed finish by Artesani following an excellent through ball (assist) from Valdivia. In the 65th minute, after a couple of well-worked and dangerous moves, the Nerazzurri come close to levelling the score, but the home goalkeeper pushes aside Baldo’s volley after an excellent cross from the right by Marrone. In the closing stages, Camara also goes close to an equaliser, but Napoli manage to seal the 3–1 win with Gorica’s near-post finish.
