Primavera: Monza 1-1 Atalanta

A sting in the tail for Atalanta Primavera: due to a late equaliser from the home side, coach Bosi's Nerazzurri had to settle for a point as MD7 of the 2024-2025 Primavera 1 "Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti" league culminated in a 1-1 draw at the Silvio and Luigi Berlusconi Sporting Centre in Monza.

The Nerazzurri broke the deadlock with their very first shot on target through Fiogbe, who put the visitors upfront with an angled right-footer on 30 minutes. Atalanta threatened again and again in the following minutes with Fiogbe and Mencaraglia but couldn't finalize their chances. Monza retaliated in the 43rd through Zanaboni, who finished wide off target. After three minutes of extra time, the first half ended with the Nerazzutti 1-0 up in Monza.

Opening the second half on the offensive, the home side nearely equalized through Zanaboni, who saw his effort denied by the post. In the closing minutes of the game, Monza leveled from a corner-kick situation through Domanico against a 10-man Atalanta after Riccio was waved the red card. After five minutes of extra time, the match closed on a 1-1 standstill.
