President Percassi: “Thank you fans, thank you Bergamo!”

I can not help but get carried away by a feverish enthusiasm whenever I see Atalanta hit the pitch: this emotional transport for Atalanta stems from the bottom of my heart, being first and foremost a fan.

Last night at the Gewiss Stadium was a momentous night indeed: not only did our Atalanta impose themselves over Roma to claim a win of utmost importance, but foremost brought immense satisfaction to us all, filling our hearts with overwhelming joy.

Nevertheless, the aspects that made this success truly unique were the warmth and passion you all, dear Atalanta fans, mustered and that, time and again, never failed to give us.

Yesterday we suffered together, we revelled together, and we cheered together. More so than ever, all in unison as one; brought together by these two colours, the black and the blue, we so wholeheartedly cherish.

With all my heart, I wish to tender my most thorough thanks to you all, my dearest Atalantini. My thoughts also go out to Bergamo, as we pride ourselves on the honour of representing our city.
