Pergolettese 3-1 Atalanta U23s
9-men Nerazzurri trailing in Crema
Atalanta U23s came off worst from the Giuseppe Voltini stadium in Crema as hosting side Pergolettese imposed themselves 3-1.
In the 10th minute, Pardel was quick off the mark to deny Careccia’s free kick, turning it behind for a corner. Atalanta took the lead first on 13 minutes as Del Lungo towered above the rest to convert Panada's corner-kick. Pergolettese almost pulled one back on 29 minutes, when Albertini finished a cross into the box wide from just a few steps out after being put on the ropes by Bernasconi's challenge.
The second half kicked off with a penalty from the home team in the 49th minute, awarded for a challenge by Panada in the box. However, Careccia’s spot-kick hit the post. While the hosts levelled the score in the 57th with a Basilli header, things took a further turn for the worse for Atalanta U23s as Obrić got sent off for a second yellow card in the 59th. Parker put the Crema side ahead on 80 minutes, capitalizing on the rebound following Pardel's save on Jaouhari. Atalanta U23 got down to 9 men in the 83rd after substitute Lonardo saw a second yellow card. Tonoli then sealed the game, scoring the hosts' third in injury time.
