Our monthly schedule, February
A Full House of Fixtures in the Shortest Month of the Year
Seven games in twenty-five days, juggling all three fronts: a February short on the calendar but heavy on challenges awaits the Nerazzurri, who, balancing decisive clashes and showpiece nights, are set to add fresh pieces to the season’s puzzle, one gruelling stretch at a time.
Off we go with the full-throttle opening that awaits Palladino’s men, ready to kick off the month at the very first opportunity. On Sunday the 1st, Atalanta will be on the road, taking to the pitch on “that branch of Lake Como”, with a 15:00 CET kick-off at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium.
Back in Bergamo for the second stop in this early run of fixtures, the Coppa Italia returns after the winter break. On Thursday the 5th at 21:00 CET, Juventus will visit the New Balance Arena for a single-leg quarter-final showdown.
Making their first appearance of the season in a Monday night fixture, the Nerazzurri will once again tread the turf of the New Balance Arena on the evening of February 9, when they host Cremonese in the second Lombardy derby of the month, scheduled for 18:30 CET.
After the back-to-back home fixtures, the Nerazzurri will be back on the road for their second away trip of the month, heading to the capital: on Saturday the 14th, Lazio vs. Atalanta will take centre stage at the Stadio Olimpico, with kick-off set for 18:00 CET.
After the Rome away day, the sliding doors moment finally swung open and the Nyon draw delivered its verdict: Borussia Dortmund will be Atalanta’s opponents in the UEFA Champions League play-offs. The first leg will be played “under the Yellow Wall”, with the Nerazzurri heading to the Westfalenstadion on February 17 at 21:00 CET sharp.
From one heavyweight clash to the next, the Nerazzurri will then return home for yet another high-stakes showdown: on Sunday the 22nd, Napoli visit the New Balance Arena, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 CET.
Once again stepping onto the grand European stage, the Atalanta stronghold is ready to switch the lights back on for another marquee night at home: after the blue, the away end at the New Balance Arena will be awash in black and yellow for the knockout phase play-off second leg, set for February 25, when Borussia Dortmund come to Bergamo for a 21:00 CET kick-off.
