Our Fixture list for October
An action-packed month with 6 games and the international break
After the break-in period in August and getting into the groove in September, push will come to shove in October with 6 games in 28 days. While the International break gives a bit of a breather mid-month, brace yourself for a bustling closing week!
The Nerazzurri's first commitment in October will take place at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, where Gasperini's men will take on Shaktar Donetsk in ther first 2024/25 League Phase outing: kick-off for the UCL MD2 is scheduled for Wednesday 2 at 18:45 CEST
Back home for the first of their 4 home games for October, Atalanta will welcome Genoa, a keenly felt game by the Grugliasco coach due to his past on the Griffin's sidelines: on Saturday 5, the Nerazzurri will cross the Gewiss Stadium's gates for the last time before taking a 15-days leave (kick-off at 18:00 CEST).
After a week off due to the second International break of the season, the Serie A Enilive will make its comeback for MD8. With the pictoresque setting of the Penzo Stadium in Venice in the cards, "anchors ahoy everyone" as the vaporetto ferry departs at 15:00 CEST on Sunday 20.
To offset the homesickeness, a full homebody trio will close the month; namely a home gauntlet of 3 games (2 league and one UCL commitments respectively) to top off the closing week. Going in order, after welcoming Scottish side Celtic on Wednesday 23 at 18:45 CEST, Atalanta will have Hellas Verona around (on Saturday 26 at 20:45 CEST) before seeing the month off with the mid-week fixture against Monza on Halloween's Eve (Wednesday 30 at 20:45 CET).
