Our Fixture list for February
7 matches, 3 competitions in 22 days: brace yourselves for a full-throttle February!
Despite February traditionally being the shortest month of the year, a few days less won’t slow the Nerazzurri down; in fact, quite the opposite! With 7 unmissable fixtures in 28 days (which are actually condensed to just 22), there will be no time to catch a breath for Atalanta this month, much to the delight of their fans!
With all this in mind, it seems almost written in the stars that the first match of the month falls on February 1st: after 10 days of rest, Gewiss Stadium will swing open its doors to host Torino for the first of two consecutive home games in the first week. Kick-off against the Maroons is set for 18:00 CET.
While opponents and competition may change, the setting remains the same: on Tuesday the 4th, the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa will make its return to Bergamo for the single-leg quarter-final tie against Bologna! With a spot in the semifinals scheduled for next April for grabs, the do-or-die clash with the Felsinei kicks off at 21:00 CET.
Week 2 will roll out with a double away challenge: first stop on this mini road trip will be the Bentegodi Stadium in Verona, where Atalanta will face Hellas in the 15:00 CET afternoon match set for Saturday the 9th. Then, they’ll be off to Bruges for yet another historic first brought about by the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League: Atalanta will in fact take to the field in the Flemish capital on Wednesday the 12th at 18:45 CET for the first round of a knockout stage painted in Nerazzurri colors.
Week three will bring another "match-set" of games, a homebody duo this time: how about making way to the Cagliari-Club Brugge double-header?! While the Sardinian Rossoblù are to step onto the Gewiss Stadium pitch on Saturday the 15th for yet another afternoon match (15:00), the Belgian Nerazzurri will visit Bergamo on Tuesday the 18th (21:00 CET), for the second and final act of this black-and-blue mirror showdown to decide who will face either Aston Villa or Lille in the Round of 16 session in March.
With the Carlo Castellani – Computer Gross Arena closing out a non-stop February, mark Sunday the 23rd at 18:00 CET for Empoli v Atalanta: time to squeeze in the homestretch...
