Our Fixture list for December
7 matches to bring the Nerazzurri's 2024 to its close
“Dry ice”! And what better way to describe the Nerazzurri's schedule for December? Despite temperatures dwindling as winter sets in, the fixture list will bring on the thaw at Atalanta's with a scorching month to date, starting off from the three blockbuster clashes within (less) than a week there to stave off the big chill.
First stop, the Olimpico Stadium in Rome, where Gasperini's men are set to take on the Capitol Giallorossi in the Monday Night kicking off on 2/12 at 20:45 CET.
Upon entering the "she-wolf's den", Atalanta will make their homecoming to the Gewiss Stadium nearly a month after their last stop-over: on that occasion, the Nerazzurri will be dancing with the devil on Friday night, as the December 6 early kick-off will see Atalanta take on Milan at 20:45 CET.
Following suit, Act number 3 will flip the script but not the scenery! To tread once again the Gewiss' "green carpet", a gala night is in the cards for the team as the UEFA Champions League MD6 calls for a footballing symposium in Bergamo on Tuesday 10 at 21:00 CET. And who might the first winter League Phase challenger be? Real Madrid! Moving on to the code for our soirée against Los Blancos, the invitation staes black-and-blue tie only...
After two back-to-back domestic games, the second on-the-road clash of December will even the home/away score: setting sail for Cagliari, Saturday 14 will call for a 15:00 kick-off against the Casteddu red-and-blues.
And, in case you missed it, December will also be the curtain-raiser to the team's path in the Coppa Italia: fixed for Wednesday 18 at 18:30 CET, the single-leg RO16 tie will see Cesena stopping by in Bergamo.
Let's move on to yet another home clash, the renowned “Xmas match" no less: with it being our last homebody fixture of 2024, what better way for our fans to exchange wishes and enjoy some football pleasantries all together in one fell swoop than our game against Empoli? Time to bring some holiday cheer at the Gewiss Stadium, then. Save the date for December 22 at 18:00 CET!
Back in the Italian capitol for a Football encore, the Nerazzurri will come full circle by bringing it back "where it all started" but with a twist for good measure: nooring once again at, you guessed it, the Olimpic Stadium in Rome, but on the Biancoceleste riverside this time Atalanta's very last game of the year calls for a 20:45 CET kick-off on Saturday 28.
