Gewiss Stadium, a Champions League stadium!

Now it's official: the Gewiss Stadium will host the next home matches of Atalanta in the 2020-2021 Champions League.

The official all-clear was given by Uefa in the afternoon of today, Wednesday 7 October.

An incredible result, perhaps unthinkable even just a couple of years ago.

Atalanta will play in Group D together with Liverpool, Ajax and Midtjylland.

The Gewiss Stadium will make its official historic debut in the Uefa Champions League on the 27th of October for the Atalanta-Ajax match.

Liverpool will play in Bergamo on the 3rd of November. Atalanta's final home fixture in Group D will be against Midtjylland on the 1st of December.
