Bakker's official debut for Atalanta
Mitchel Bakker made his official debut for Atalanta last Saturday in Frosinone with the Dutch wingback hitting the Benito Stirpe pitch in the 80th minute coming on for Ruggeri. After his debuts in his homeland (in the Eredivisie with Ajax), in France (in the Ligue 1 with PSG) and in Germany’s top flight with Bayer Leverkusen, Bakker played his first-ever Serie A match.
In addition to reaching Cristiano Doni as Atalanta’s all-time top scorer in the Serie A with 69 goals, Duván Zapata set another personal best: the Cafetero striker found the net for his 11th consecutive Serie A campaign. Since 2013, Duván has scored at least one goal during each and every season played in Italy.
As for Nadir Zortea, the black-and-blue right wingback has instead reached the threshold of 50 Serie A matches, also taking into account his previous stints at Salernitana and Sassuolo.
