DEAcademy Italia: the 2026/27 season gets underway
Atalanta’s affiliation programme brings together clubs from across Italy
The Palace Hotel in Verdellino hosted the presentation of DEAcademy Italia, Atalanta’s national affiliation programme, for the 2026/27 season.
Around 60 participants, including coaches, project coordinators and club officials, were welcomed by Maurizio Marchesini, the project’s technical manager, who greeted the new affiliated clubs. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress made by DEAcademy since its launch, while also exploring the opportunities available to affiliated clubs and the activities planned for the new season.
Stefano Bonaccorso, Head of Pre-Academy Activities, also attended the meeting and outlined the project’s technical objectives.
Following the meeting, participants enjoyed a social gathering before making their way to the New Balance Arena to watch Atalanta take on Frosinone in the league.
