Copa América 2024: 4-1 win over Paraguay for Brazil
Éderson was an unused sub
Éderson's Brazil claimed their first win in the 2024 Copa América as the Canarinha imposed themselves 1-4 over Paraguay (the Atalanta midfielder was an unused sub). Moving on to the opening MD2 game, after running out 3-0 winners from their clash against Costa Rica, Colombia have already qualified for the quarter-finals with one game to spare. Standing-wise, while the Cafetero side have tightened their grip on Group D's lead, Brazil have now pulled ahead of their previous tie with Costarica (on 4 and 1 points respectively). Paraguay close the chart on a pointless score.
The Seleção will be back on the pitch on Wednesday, July 3, to vie for Group D's top spot with Colombia in a 03:00 CEST (18:00 PDT) kick-off.
