Coach Sarri's press conference ahead of Juventus v Atalanta

Head Coach Maurizio Sarri spoke to the media on the eve of Atalanta’s trip to face Juventus on Matchday 5 of the 2026/27 Serie A Enilive season. The fixture kicks off tomorrow, Sunday 20 September, at 18:00 CEST at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

We’re certainly in for a tough match. I would like to see the same attitude we showed in the first 20–25 minutes of the second half in Rome, but over a longer period. I’d like those 25 minutes to turn into 60. As for our defensive phase, right up until the last match we had been sitting too deep and playing too passively, but against Cagliari there were signs of improvement and, at the very least, the team’s centre of gravity and pressing line were much higher.
