"Ciak Educazione!" honours the Holocaust Remembrance Day
It's the third forum for Atalanta's academy youngsters
A new appointment of the “Ciak educazione!” forum reserved for Atalanta’s academy youngsters who, on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, attended the screening of the film “Jojo Rabbit” at the “Casa del Giovane” in Bergamo on the evening of Monday, January 27.
The plot of “Jojo Rabbit,” a 2019 film shot by director Taika Waititi and Oscar winner for best original screenplay, revolves around Johannes “Jojo” Betzler, a 10-year-old German boy who is an ardent supporter of the Nazi regime and has an imaginary friend an illusory representation of Adolf Hitler. Jojo's life changes dramatically when he discovers that his mother, Rosie, is hiding a young Jewish girl in their apartment.
The screening of this movie was intended to stimulate the young black-and-blue footballers' thinking on issues such as respect, education and freedom, as well as to enable them to take a firm stand against violence, war, dictatorships and any form of hatred and discrimination.
