Camp in Sarajevo with Intesa Sanpaolo
The initiative follows into the footsteps of the camp in Tirana
In cooperation with Intesa Sanpaolo Banka Bosna i Hercegovina, Atalanta will host their first Football Camps in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Football School of Atalanta in Sarajevo will take place from the 19th to the 21st of October 2022.
The event is aimed at all children aged between 8 and 12 years. The main partner of the project is Intesa Sanpaolo Banka, in conjunction with the International Subsidiary Banks Division, managed by Marco Elio Rottigni.
The camp will allow the 120 participants between boys and girls to live a unique experience: as children train hand-to-hand with the black-and-blue instructors, they will be directly involved in a hands-on and on-site experience of the techniques and methodology employed by the Academy of Atalanta.
“Through the activities implemented by our Division, not only do we endorse the local economy, but we also activate high social value projects that empower the local communities all throughout the 12 Countries encompassed within our range of activities - Marco Elio Rottigni, Chief International Subsidiary Bank Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, has declared -. Owing to Sport being founded on values such as engagement, inclusion and sustainability, it bears a prominent role in such value-driven projects. Football has proven time and time again to be the embodiment of such epitome, as its capability to create bonds and aggregation has always been able to go beyond the sheer competitive aspect, by instilling teamwork and respect. Therefore, we endorse the Atalanta Football Camp, an initiative involving 120 children in a project that has proven its fruitfulness in Albania and that will be implemented in Egypt, Slovakia and Slovenia after this experience in Bosnia-Herzegovina”.
“I am eager to announce with genuine pleasure that, thanks to the key and pro-active partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo, Atalanta is to host their Football Camps also in Sarajevo - Romano Zanforlin, Marketing and Commercial Director of Atalanta, has stated -. Our Club has always allocated resources and destined their utmost efforts and attention to the promotion and the amelioration of our Academy in order to foster the nurture of countless players. Hence, we take great pride in conveying the philosophy behind our Academy through the Football Camps: under the wings of our trainers, the young footballers will experience the thrills of learning football thanks to the combination of proper training and, first and foremost, leisure".
