Brescianini signs for Atalanta
The 24-year-old mid lands in Bergamo from Frosinone
Atalanta BC are glad to announce the signing, on loan with a buy-out option and an obligation to make the transfer permanent under certain conditions, of footballer Marco Brescianini from Frosinone Calcio. Summing up his latest season, the 24-year-old midfielder racked up 36 appearances, embellished by 4 goals and 2 key passes.
Born on January 20 2000, he moved his first footballing steps at Milan, rising up the Rossoneri’s Youth System ladder all the way to the first team, with whom he made his debut in August 2020, hitting the pitch in the Serie A finale.
After earning his stripes during his loan spells between the 2020 and 2023 seasons at, respectively, Virtus Entella, Monza and Cosenza - which lead to 70 Serie B caps, 4 goals and a first call-up for Italy’s U21s on August 2021- Brescianini made his comeback in Italy’s top flight after completing an outright transfer to Frosinone in the summer of 2023.
As stated in the intro, Brescianini imposed himself as one of the main bulwarks of the Ciociarian midfield, closing his stint in the 2023-2024 Serie A campaign with 36 appearances (out of 38 playable games) 2 assists and 4 goals to his name: after founding his scoring ways on October 29 in the road game v Cagliari, he got back on the scoresheet in the fixtures against Milan, Juventus and Salernitana.
The Percassi and Pagliuca families and the whole Club would like to extend a warm welcome to Marco and wish him the best of luck in his future personal and team endeavours as a Nerazzurro.
