Atalanta v Sturm Graz, the official lunch
Rendezvous in the Gewiss Stadium's Dea Lounge
In the lead-in to the Nerazzurri's fourth and final home match in the League Phase of the 2024/25 Champions League, Atalanta's main executives welcomed their Sturm Graz counterparts for the traditional convivial lunch, also attended by UEFA as tradition dictates. This event is not only part of the pre-match etiquette, but above all a testament to the values of sportsmanship and fair play, the ethics underpinning European football's governing body.
With the Dea Lounge, namely the Gewiss Stadium's main restaurant, as striking hosting scenery, 3-star Michelin restaurant 'Da Vittorio' once again took the culinary limelight to offer guests a specially tailored menu featuring the renowned, eponymous "Paccheri alla Vittorio" signature dish.
Representing Sturm Graz were President Christian Jauk, Vice Presidents Peter Schaller and Gerhard Steindl, Managing Director Michael Vollmann, and Board Members Susanne Gorny and Jörg Siegel.
On Atalanta’s behalf, the event was attended by CEO Luca Percassi, Board Member Marc Casper, Corporate Director General Andrea Fabris, Institutional Director General Umberto Marino, Commercial and Marketing Director Romano Zanforlin and Secretary General-Main Contact Marco Semprini.
The UEFA representatives were Delegate Mark Evans, Venue Director Sean Alari and Venue Operations and Broadcast Manager David Gallego.
