Atalanta v Celtic, the official lunch
With the Clubs' main executives rendezvousing in the Gewiss Stadium's Dea Lounge
In keeping with the pre-match tradition endorsed by UEFA, the Atalanta executives, their Celtic homologues and representatives from the governing body of European football convened at the Gewiss Stadium for the traditional convivial colloquium that preceded the Nerazzurri's second home game in the League Phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League.
Keenly appreciated by UEFA, the Fair Play Event is now part of the customary lead-in ceremony to foster cooperation and fair game.
With the Dea Lounge's restaurant as striking hosting scenery, 3-star Michelin restaurant Da Vittorio once again took the culinary limelight to offer guests a specially tailored menu.
Representing Celtic were CEO Michael Nicholson, CFO Chris McKay and Director Eric Riley.
On Atalanta’s behalf, the event was attended by CEO Luca Percassi, Corporate Director General Andrea Fabris, Institutional Director General Umberto Marino and Secretary General-Main Contact Marco Semprini.
The UEFA representatives were Delegate Adrian Ixari, Venue Director Sean Alari and Technical Observer Cristian Chivu.
