Atalanta U23s 3-1 Triestina

A double Vlahović and Scheffer led the Nerazzurri to the win

Claiming their first win of 2025 by defeating Triestina 3-1 at home, Atalanta have stretched their current unbeaten streak to 6 back-to-back matchups courtesy of Vlahović's brace and Scheffer's very first professional goal.

Atalanta took the lead early on through Vlahović on 10 minutes: upon winning a rebound, the striker made his way into the box and shot, with his effort initially deflected by the opposing keeper onto the post. Nonetheless, the Serbian didn't waver and slotted the ricochet home to break the deadlock in Caravaggio. In the 19th minute a build-up misstep by Gyabuaa gave Triestina a chance to break on the counter, with the midfielder eventually amending his faux pas with a crucial defensive undercut. The visitors threatened 27 minutes in through Udoh, but Pardel pulled off a sharp save. One minute later, Correia neared the equaliser as his shot was denied by the post. Then, on 32 minutes, Artesani 5 minutes later, Artesani worked his magic forcing a corner with a sleek right-footer to top off a smart feint with his left. The Nerazzurri doubled their lead in the 34th minute: following a corner-kick, Cassa had a go at goal, deflected into the net by Scheffer to make it 2-0 and top-off a smashing choral play in style.

The Nerazzurri kept their foot on the gas in the second half, a move that proved itself decise in the 53rd minute, Vlahović sealed his brace: Cassa sent a perfect ball into the box for Bernasconi, leverly laying it off to our number 99, who slotted it in the back of the net with ease to make it 3-0. The visitors pulled one back from the spot on 59 minutes with Olivieri. In the 72nd minute, Pardel stepped up to the challenge with two brilliant back-to-back saves on Vertainen to secure the Nerazzurri's lead.
