Atalanta strike three in Turin and secure back-to-back wins
Krstović (brace) and Kamaldeen sign off 3-0 win over the Maroons
With three goals in the first half, Atalanta secured an important victory at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. In the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive MD4, the Nerazzurri defeated Torino 3-0 thanks to a brace from Krstović and a goal from Kamaldeen.
While both teams had early bites with Vlasic's shot just clipping wide and Kristović’s attempt saved, Atalanta got hit by an injury spate in the opening minutes with Zalewski and then Hien forced off the pitch. But within ten minutes, the Nerazzurri turned the tide decisively. The breakthrough came on the half-hour mark when Kristović fired in his first goal in Nerazzurro, finalising a brilliant break down the right by Samardžić. Four minutes later, Kamaldeen doubled the lead, capitalising on a setup from Zappacosta: after a neat one-two between Bellanova and Samardžić, with the latter’s first shot smacking the post, our number 7 pounced on the rebound and made it 2-0 in Turin. Keeping their foot on the gas, Atalanta made it three: De Roon’s perfectly weighted through ball found Kamaldeen, who turned provider teeing up Kristović, who completed his brace in the 38th.
Skipper De Roon (making his 400th appearance in all competitions for the Nerazzurri) and his teammates entered the second half with composure, controlling the game and protecting their three-goal lead until the 67th, when Carnesecchi flew to deny Simeone. At the other end, Israel kept Kamaldeen out with a save at the near post. Then it was Zapata who tested Carnesecchi, with the Atalanta keeper pushing it out for a corner. On 73 minutes Torino were awarded a penalty following a VAR-assisted on field review with Carnesecchi readingZapata perfectly and saving the shot (his second penalty stop in just a week, following the one against PSG in the Champions League MD1). In the 77th, Bellanova almost netted the fourth of the game, with his volley narrowly missing the top corner. With the final whistle blowing in Turin, Atalanta cruised to a 3-0 win away.
