Atalanta's home run goes on: 2-1 win over Cremonese
Krstović & Zappacosta make it four win in a row at home
Goals from Krstović and Zappacosta saw Atalanta get the better of Cremonese in the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive Matchday 24. At the New Balance Arena in Bergamo, the Nerazzurri ran out 2–1 winners to climb to 39 points in the table, securing their fourth consecutive home league victory.
The Nerazzurri came off the blocks flying, threatening with Raspadori (tipped over the bar by Audero) and then Djimsiti (grazing the post with a glancing header), before eventually breaking the deadlock in the 13th minute, when Krstović latched onto Raspadori's cross before turning it into the net and behind Audero. On 20 minutes Samardžić came agonizingly close to doubling the Nerazzurri's lead as his first-time swivel finish from Zalewski’s delivery crashed flush against the crossbar. The opener was not long in coming: set free down the flank by a first-time through-ball from Pašalić, Zappacosta drove forward, danced past his marker and bent a curler into the bottom corner on 25 minutes.
In the second half the Nerazzurri almost notched up another goal with Zalewski, grazing the far post with a precise curler from the edge of the box. The visitors had their say in the 58th, when Throsby nodded the ball wide. Then Krstović upped the ante with a left-footed attempt, wide off the mark. In the 67th minute, a sumptuous raking pass from Pašalić picked out Zalewski’s run; the cut-back found Samardžić, whose left-footed finish flashed inches wide of the post. Ten minutes later a team play frees Raspadori, who finished inches above the top corner. On 80 minutes, it was Baschirotto who came in clutch with a sliding save on Éderson's effort to deny the Nerazzurri once again. And on 89 minutes Carnesecchi hogged the defensive spotlight with a point-blank save on Djuric's header. Atalanta added one more to their account 91st, when Djimsiti prodded the ball in following a scramble in the box, but the goal was later disallowed due to a previous off-side in the build-up. The visitors pulled one back in the 94th with Thorsby.
