Atalanta's climb goes on: three points in Bologna
Nerazzurri seize the Dall'Ara with a Krstović brace
With an outstanding display, Atalanta secured a 2-0 victory at the Dall'Ara stadium as the Nerazzurri imposed themselves in the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive MD19. A brilliant brace from Krstović sealed the win, giving the Nerazzurri their second consecutive triumph following the success over Roma.
The Nerazzurri started the first half on the front foot, creating an early chance in the fourth minute with Éderson, slicing through the Bologna rearguard but finishing narrowly wide. Bologna hit back in the 17th minute through Dallinga, whose shot was deflected over the bar. Atalanta kept grinding away, coming close to the breakthrough in the 35th minute when Ahanor’s header kissed the crossbar. The breakthrough came in the 37th minute, when De Ketelaere delivered a teasing ball from the right to Krstović, on hand to steer it past Ravaglia, putting the Nerazzurri 1-0 up.
The second half began with Ferguson making a crucial save from Krstović in the 54th minute. The Nerazzurri doubled their lead on the hour mark: De Roon flicked the ball to Krstović, who finished with his left to beat Ravaglia for the second time. In the 63rd minute, De Ketelaere tested the Bologna goalkeeper with a curling left-footed strike. Carnesecchi was quick to react in the 70th minute, tipping Rowe's shot over the bar and into a corner. Once again, the Atalanta stood tall in the 82nd minute, denying Ferguson’s close-range attempt during Bologna’s late push. The final whistle confirmed a 2-0 victory for the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Dall’Ara.
