Atalanta Internationals in Action: November 13 Round-Up
World Cup Qualifiers and friendlies up next
The final international break of 2025 is upon us and 14 Nerazzurri First Team players have been selected to represent their respective national teams in November, with many aiming to qualify for next summer's World Cup. Here are the outcomes of the matches scheduled on Thursday 13 November.
Ademola Lookman was the first Atalanta player to take to the pitch. He helped Nigeria beat Gabon 4-1 after extra time in the semi-final of the Africa World Cup play-offs, securing their place in the final on Sunday 16 November. Lookman started the game and played the opening 60 minutes.
Later in the evening, it was Italy's turn, as the Azzurri claimed a 2-0 away win over Moldova: Raoul Bellanova played the full 90 minutes, Gianluca Scamacca stayed on for 65, while Marco Carnesecchi was an unused substitute.
Albania also came out on top, with Berat Djimsiti's side beating Andorra 1-0 away from home. Djimsiti, wearing the captain's armband, played the full match.
A setback instead for Serbia, as Lazar Samardžić’s team were beaten 2-0 by England in London. Samardžić came on in the 69th minute.
