Atalanta mourn the passing of Rino Marchesi

Atalanta, deeply moved, mourn the passing of Rino Marchesi.

An elegant defender endowed with great personality and remarkable composure from the penalty spot, Rino Marchesi came through Atalanta’s youth sector before representing the First Team for three seasons, from 1957/58 to 1959/60. During that period, he made 95 appearances and scored 15 goals.

President Antonio Percassi, Co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca, and the entire Atalanta family extend their heartfelt condolences to his loved ones during this time of mourning.
